High speed interface modules are family of input interface designed for CONFORM-2S units that consist of 16 E1 (G.703) ports, 4 100BaseTX ports and 2 empty slots for plugging in a high speed input module. The system allows for application of 1+0, 1+1, 2+0 and add-drop type.

Plug-in module HSI-2S-FO is designed as output interface for application of optical multiplexer. Transmission rate is 34.368 Mbps or 155.520 Mbps.

There is a modification based on packet multiplexer suitable for maximizing the utilization of transfer capacity. You can also use E3 signal fed into second HSI module as input ports.
